Meeting Up « Thread Started on Dec 5, 2006, 8:25pm »
A Toyota Camery pulled into the small pizzeria parking lot and parked along a couple of empty spaces. Stepping out of the car, Jake leaned against the driver's side. Kris went inside to get a table. They had to wait up for Brenna, whom they'd met on instant messenger. The fun part was going to be figuring out who she was.

She had been the last to arrive, finding a vacant parking spot near the last row of cars. It seemed a bit more crowded than expected, but she didn't mind waiting. Stepping out of the black silverado, she mindlessly pushed the automatic lock button, her eyes watching the headlights flicker on and off as a reply to her command.
Tossing her hair behind her shoulders, she advanced towards the front, noticing a familiar person leaning up against his vehicle. Assuming it was Jake, she simply smiled and stepped forth, her mahogany eyes bright. "Jake I presume?"

Blue gaze mindlessly glanced up at incoming cars. When a silverado was spotted, he remembered that she'd mentioned that it was her vehicle. He watched as she approached, the usual warm smile on his face. Hearing what she said, he nodded. "Brenna?" Jake's appearal consisted of baggy jeans and an equally loose shirt. The shirt was black with "LinkinPark" written on the back... One of his favorite bands. His hair was laying somewhat smoothly at the moment, though curled toward the end in some places. Glancing into the pizzaria, he noticed that Kris was watching from within at a table.

She had been dressed in a casual black tanktop with a funky pink design running up the sides and meeting eachother near her chest and torso. It was one of her favorite shirts, and whenever it was clean, she'd always picked it over anything else. Couldn't say much about her pants. Just a regular pair of faded blue jeans with a small hole on the knee. They were old, but definetly Brenna's most comfortable pair. "Yeah!" She replied, her mahogany eyes following the gaze of the boy's, noticing Kris waiting inside. "Is that Kris?" She asked, running her fingers through her straightened brown hair.

Looking back toward Brenna, he nodded. "You're good at guessing who's who." Smiling, he stood away from the car and motioned to her to walk ahead. Couldn't leave his sister alone and, besides, the faster the food was ordered, the faster they'd get it. What's always on a guy's mind? Food. Jake held the door open for Brenna before walking in himself and sitting down next to Kris in the booth.

She advanced toward the door, smiling as she walked through. "Well aren't you just a gentleman." She smirked, referring to his door-opening actions. Making her way over to Kris, she held out a soft hand, a bright smile across her glossed lips. "Hey Kris!" She exclaimed, withdrawing her hand before it could be touched and deciding to give her a light hug instead.

"As Kris'll tell you, I can be when I want to." Jake laughed slightly before following Brenna, allowing the door to swing shut. When the two were coming toward her, Kris stood and was slightly confused when Brenna withdrew her hand, but then realized that it was for the hug. Returning the hug, she smiled. "Hey, Brenna! Nice to meet you in person." The brunette wore a random black t-shirt she'd pulled from her drawer and a pair of comfortable jeans. Her hair was pulled back by a black scrunchi. Her facial features were softly touched up by some light makeup.

"Haha, yeah." She giggled, her eyes lingering to the light commotion of the pizzeria. It wasn't too bad, maybe a few crying babies or a couple having their own, secluded argument. The smell of the building itself was just a pure heavenly scent. "Before my stomach decides to take over, let's hurry up and order!" She exclaimed, a small giggle to follow.
